Hotel Dvorana was built at the site of a former engineering factory. The history of the premises dates back to 1915 - 1920. In the 1990 the factory was privatized and it produced water turbines for small water power plants. From the 1970s the biggest dominant feature of the whole premises was the villa which served as a canteen, accommodation and there were also offices. The building has been carefully and thoroughly renovated with the emphasis put on the preservation of the original architecture. It has given rise to a unique hotel which stands out of the row of other hotels in Karlovy Vary. The motto of the hotel is „ There is no hotel like The Hotel“
The hotel is unique because of its specialization. It specializes in corporate clientele and customers who come to Karlovy Vary to attend courses and events organized in the Educational Centre Dvorana. However, the hotel offers service to a whole range of customers such as families with children, culture lovers, senior citizens and also sports fans – golfers, chess players and others. The concept of combining conference areas adapted to the demands of tutors and participants with high-quality rest and relaxation has been implemented here.
There are 8 conference halls with the capacity of 10 – 140 people. It is possible to hold a training course for up to 280 people here. The training halls are technically very well equipped and are adapted to the current trends of organizing company meetings.
The rooms are wheelchair accessible with a day light and with the possibility to arrange them variably for both small and big groups.. They can be rented during the week and also at the weekends. The catering is provided on request.
There are 24 above standard equipped rooms with the most modern technologies, including 9 suits and several rooms adapted to special needs of our customers. All the rooms have independent air-conditioning and air-handling system. Our hotel has been the first in the Czech Republic where the most modern version of IPTV (internet protocol television) system has been installed. The rooms are equipped with the telephones, minibars, safes, hotel key cards for opening the door. The rooms have bathromms with either a bath or a shower, toilet and bidet, complimemtary Wi-Fi.
The restaurant is open not only to the hotel guests but to everyone. Lovers of high-quality dishes, coffee or wine are warmly welcomed. It is a peaceful, luxurious place with kind waiting staff and prices are pleasant. You can choose from the daily menu or a la carte menu. We also hold degustation evenings. We can help you organize company meetings, private or family celebrations or weddings, newly in our nature area with pond and glassed tent for 150 people.
In hotel Dvorana you can rent a cinema for private parties or musical events. Both the screening and sound technologies are of the highest quality. The acoustics has been developed with professionals and its quality is that of the recording studio. We also offer 3D projections. The minimum number of people to rent the cinema is two.
Many free time activities are available at Hotel Dvorana – a library with computers and the internet connection, games room with a bar, billiards, poker table and electronic darts.
Our guests can relax in our wellness facilities with a steam or dry sauna; we also offer massages and a hairdresser and a beautician are available on request.
